Job Description
We are currently looking for a passionate and experienced Chief Research Officer for the Bucharest team. The role will lead all our Client’s research activities and manage accounts across the globe by maintaining good relations with clients.
The CRO is responsible for leading, coordinating, and directing research-related activities from the methodology, sampling, questionnaire (including setup), monitor data collection, and reporting. Working in close connection with the clients’ teams, CRO will manage international accounts and projects by monitoring teams, offering assistance (trainings) and communicating with team members and verifying that all projects and tasks are on schedule.
CRO will be responsible for three main areas related to our Client’ research activities: (1) Market Research Coordination, (2) Account Management, (3) Improving company research software. Below is a detailed presentation of these responsibilities:
Market Research Coordination
Oversees the setup, development and management of all research activities
By communicating internally and with the client’s team, develops and implements a strategic vision & thorough planning for each research account
Analyses various sets of data; interprets data and builds customer-facing reports. Assures the constant quality of data by verifying that information on databases is accurate and through multiple testing phases, as well as ensuring that all team members complete their tasks and work closely
Proactively pursues and cultivates the development and expansion of research-oriented activities with external clients and team members
Works collaboratively with the Senior Account Coordinator, COO, Digital Campaigns Manager, Quality Assurance and technical team for smoothening the research project
Account Management
Manages relationships with allocated key accounts in both deployment and operation phases, from a single point of contact perspective, including client on-boarding, training, team management, project steering, prioritization, overview of processes, supervising administrative tasks;
Carries out company and product presentations for potential clients or investors
Company research software input
Plays a key role in optimizing research-related tools (surveys, reports, new products etc.) and proposes new research directions
Translates new product business requirements into feature specs and follow up the process
Ideal Candidate
Education and Experience
- Mid-/senior level (+5 years)
- BA or MS in Political Science, Sociology or similar
- Experience in both quantitative and qualitative research, including research approach, survey design, data analysis and statistics, planning & managing research activities; ideally you have experience in online research, with advanced degree(s) a plus
- Proficiency in research tools (SPSS, R, STATA etc.)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office package
Other:
- Solid understanding of the international political/social landscape, passionate about new technology and daring ideas
- Strong stakeholder and project management abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Full professional proficiency in English and Romanian
