Descrierea Jobului

We are looking for an IT Specialist/Generalist  – System Administrator and Helpdesk (based in Cluj).

Below are some of the most important responsibilities:

  • Software and Hardware provisioning and configuration

  • Installing, configuring, and troubleshooting Windows based Servers and Workstations, and mobile devices, in full compliance with Group policies and standards

  • Administrating service accounts, mail server, security groups, file servers

  • Administrating network infrastructure services and protocols (TCP/IP, Firewall, Proxy, VPN)

  • Configuring network equipment: switches, routers

  • Monitor system performance and takes corrective actions where necessary

  • Implements maintain and test the backup plan

  • Ensure security through access controls and antivirus, in full compliance with Group policies and standards

  • Keep software and hardware up to date, license clearance

  • Record, track, and maintain technical documentation

  • Access software updates, drivers, knowledge bases, and frequently asked questions resources

  • Perform hands-on fixes at the desktop level, including installing and upgrading software, installing hardware, implementing file backups, and configuring systems and applications (be available for 24/7 support, if necessary)

  • Install company provided software

  • Performing preventative maintenance, including checking and cleaning of workstations and any other inventory item

  • Test fixes to ensure problem has been adequately resolved as well as perform post-resolution follow-ups to help requests

  • Develop help sheets and frequently asked questions lists for end users

Candidatul Ideal

  • Educație și Experiență

    • Bachelor Degree preferable in IT/Computer Science/Cibernetics/Engineering and related
    • 3+ years of experience working on the same or similar role
    • Experience with the administration of workstations, servers and networks
    • Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment

  • Alte competențe

    • Knowledge of basic computer hardware
    • Experience with Microsoft Office products
    • Working knowledge of a range of diagnostic utilities
    • Ability to research a wide range of computing issues as required
    • Ability to absorb and retain information quickly
    • Ability to present ideas in user-friendly language
    • Strong documentation skills
    • Upper-Intermediate English
