Job Description

We are looking for 4 x Collections Officer, located in Bucharest. The ideal candidate is pro-active, open to new opportunities and positive thinking, having previous similar experience with this activity or economic bacground.

Main responsibility of the job is to contact customers that are past due via phone calls, emails, chats, following in place protocols.

  • Deliver high efficiency and performance while ensuring high quality and company protocols are in place when contacting customers that are past due via phone calls, emails, chats

  • Negotiating and motivating customers to repay their debts

  • Interview reasons for delays in payments

  • Constant monitoring of payment agreements

  • Finding and updating data to debtors (skip tracing)

  • Registering collections activities in computer programs

  • Display understanding of collections processes, legislation & regulations, market trends and industry best practices

  • Other tasks assigned by the Collections Team Leader

Ideal Candidate

  • Education and Experience:

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Business/Economics/Financial/Law or a related field
    • 6-12 months of work experience in similar roles (collections) or even no direct experience but communication skills (contact centers, BPOs or related industry)
    • Previous similar experience with dialing apps and/ or collection managing systems – advantage
  • Other requirements

    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills as required to effectively communicate to a diverse audience
    • Good negotiation skills and basic in English
    • Problem solving, conflict resolution and negotiation skills
  • Personality

    • Highly organized with great attention to detail
    • Honesty & Integrity above all and a deep respect about the law
    • Confident, driven and results oriented
