Descrierea Jobului

The main role for the Payment Team Leader (PTL) is to manage the payments team (awesome colleagues), lead the way and provide guidance and support for them.

Team Leading Responsibilities

  • Provide necessary business information

  • Provide the team with a vision of the project objectives

  • Motivate and inspire team members leading by setting a good example (role model) – behavior consistent with words

  • Create an environment oriented to trust, open communication, creative thinking, and cohesive team effort

  • Facilitate problem solving and collaboration

  • Strive for team consensus and win-win agreements, ensure discussions and decisions lead toward closure, maintain healthy group dynamics

  • Encourage creativity and constant improvement

  • Recognize and celebrate team and team member accomplishments and exceptional performance

Professional Responsibilities

  • Lead payment team – processing payments; self-solving most arising specific questions and work-related issues

  • Develop and implement procedures for payments processing and treasury

  • Keep control Treasury (internal money transfers, minimum balance keeping, risk minimizations)

  • Reconciliations, balance checking, returns / recovery control and recording

  • Developing of new solutions for automation and implementing them

  • Finding new correspondent accounts

Candidatul Ideal

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business/Economics/Financial or a related field

  • 5+ years of experience in payments

  • 3+ experience in similar position

  • Advanced in Excel (minimum Pivot tables, Vlookup etc)

  • English Advances – spoken and written (ability to meet with partners and keep free and professional discussions)

  • Basic understanding of accounting/Financial statements

  • Strong communication skills required

  • Must demonstrate ability to meet deadlines and solve arising issues by self (we need someone who was responsible for all process)

  • Highly organized with great attention to detail

  • Honesty & Integrity above all and a deep respect about the law
