We are looking to recruit 5 x Purchasers – Purchasing Responsibles based in Cluj.

The main objective of the role is to conduct research on potential products, vendors, and services, and comparing price and quality to ensure the best deals

Below are some of the most important responsibilities:

  • Conducting research on potential products, vendors, and services, and comparing price and quality to ensure the best deals

  • Meeting with vendors and clients to negotiate the best contracts

  • Sources competitive prices for welfare and site equipment. Ordering and raising Po’s. Supporting all welfare and plant and equipment orders, monitoring hire and off hire records, consumables and managing water and effluent waste collections

  • Support RFI for quotes from monitoring suppliers

  • Liaising with delivery and warehouse teams to ensure goods are received on time

  • Attending events, shows, and exhibitions to network with vendors and view new products

  • Inspecting purchased products upon delivery and reporting any issues timely

  • Updating all records of purchased products

  • Writing reports on purchases made and performing cost analyses

  • Attending and contributing to meetings with staff and other stakeholders

  • Analyze market and delivery systems and delivery schedules

  • Manage and analyze supply base

  • Monitor BOM and place provisional orders

  • Correspond with PM/SM requesting a mobilization plan of all new projects

  • Managing waste deliveries and collections

  • Prepare and update the delivery schedules for orders of materials

  • Support Project Purchasing

  • Confident with supporting Key Components Purchasing

  • Uploading all QA/QC, data sheets, warranties, and delivery notes for their own projects they are responsible

  • Provisionally plan orders for materials and liaise with PM on a regular basis ensuring the timelines are aligned and procured materials are planned as per the timeline

Candidatul Ideal

  • Educație și Experiență

    • Bachelor Degree preferable in Engineering/Technical/Economics
    • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in similar positions

  • Alte competențe

    • Excel & Power Point
    • English – intermediate
    • High capacity for analysis and synthesis
    • Organizational capacity, coordination, task prioritization
    • Communication / negociation / relationship skills and active listening
