Academia de HR is recruiting for its Client, a major player in the field of green energy plant construction, part of a German group of companies, a Project Controls Expert (based in Cluj), to become a key player in our Project Controls team supporting construction management from bid preparation till project completion, for an international portfolio of PV plants Procurement and Construction projects (solar parks).

Below are some of the most important responsibilities:

  • Develop, maintain and update detailed schedules, resource loaded

  • Develop, maintain and update project cost estimates over the entire project lifecycle, from preliminary estimate to final acceptance

  • Provides support for the preparation of technical and economic offers

  • Contribute to the development of Project Execution Plans, including WBS, CBS, schedule, resource plan, progress measurement methodology

  • Resource planning and leveling

  • Develop and maintain cost and schedule estimates and forecasts

  • Analyze project’s progress, cost and schedule variations and resource utilization, and recommend appropriate measures

  • Analyze, monitor and comment on related contractors and subcontractors’ schedules, resource plans, progress reports and make recommendations

  • Ensure compliance with Project Execution Plan and Change Management procedure and highlight any deviations

  • Support the Project Controls Manager and Construction Manager in all areas related to project cost & schedule management, resource requirements and their optimal utilization

  • Ensure full adherence and compliance to Company’s and Group’s standards, procedures and any regulation applicable to project management and project controls in general and to project cost & schedule management in particular

Candidatul Ideal

  • Educație și Experiență

    • Bachelor Degree preferable in Engineering / Constructions / Technical
    • 3+ years of experience working as a project controls specialist, preferable in build phase for construction projects
    • Relevant working experience and expertise in project controls, including cost estimating, cost control, planning, scheduling, resource management, progress monitoring, reporting
    • Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
    • Exceptional written and oral communication skills

  • Alte competențe

    • Advanced user skills and expertise in MS Project and/or Primavera P6
    • Advanced user skills and expertise in automated cost management systems
    • Advanced MS Office user
    • Working knowledge of project management practice and methodologies
    • Ability to absorb and retain information quickly
    • Ability to present ideas in user-friendly language
    • Strong documentation skills
    • Upper-Intermediate English
